The short form of the tablature is called as the TAB. Learning with the tab to play the guitar is the best way for lot of people. The music that is written will be used by the players when they play the musical instruments like saxophone, piano, flute, violin and all the other kind of instruments. Playing guitar is completely different and the player used the diagrams of the chord. The chord music cannot be read by all the people very easily. Some people still struggle to read it. Due to this problem a new learning method was devised in which the guitar can be learnt with the TAB.

A sequence of notes will be written on the tablature that will help the player to learn or run the same on the guitar. For many people, this option of learning the guitar with the TAB is a lucky thing that helps them to learn to play the guitar very quickly and also without any frustration. A coin has two sides. Likewise, there are some drawbacks in this way of learning.

When the guitar is played, the player will play both the notes and the rhythm. When the guitar is played with the TAB, it will be very difficult to transfer the information for a particular planned rhythm. On the other hand, if the guitar is played with the use of the sheet music, the rhythm is showed on one part of the music and hence the player knows the speed limit of the song that has to be played. This information on the rhythm cannot be seen on the TAB. Due to this reason, many players will select the song for which the rhythm is known by them and they need to just read the notes.
